Seven Years of Love

A poem I wrote for my wife for our wedding anniversary.

In the garden of our life, seven years have bloomed,

With petals of joy and moments that loomed.

Hand in hand, through sun and rain,

Together we've danced, through pleasure and pain.

Your smile, a beacon, in my darkest night,

Your love, my anchor, my guiding light.

With every heartbeat, my love for you grows,

In the tapestry of time, our story flows.

We've shared laughter, and tears we've shed,

Through good times and bad, where our hearts have led.

In moments of joy, and times of strife,

You've been my partner, my love, my life.

Five years of marriage, of dreams intertwined,

A love so deep, so pure, so kind.

Here's to the moments, both big and small,

To the love that conquers, that stands tall.

As we look forward to the years ahead,

With hearts united, and promises said,

Know that my love, forever will be,

Yours for eternity, as you are to me.
